Safari to Tsavo East National Park
Mudanda Rock. The Mudanda Rock is a 1.6 km inselberg of stratified rock that acts as a water catchment that supplies a natural dam below.
Yatta Plateau. The world's longest lava flow, runs along the western boundary of the park.
Lugard Falls. Named after Frederick Lugard, these are actually a series of white water rapids on Galana River.
Aruba Dam. Built in 1952 across the Voi River. The reservoir created by the dam attracts many animals and water birds.
Safari to Tsavo West National Park
The park covers an area of 9,065 square kilometres. The A109 road Nairobi-Mombasa and a railway divides the park into east and west.
The western part is a more popular destination on account of its magnificent scenery, Mzima Springs, rich and varied wildlife, good road system, rhino reserve, rock climbing potential and guided walks along the Tsavo River.

Wildlife in Tsavo East and West National Park
Tsavo East and West National Parks rank among the world's largest game reserves, providing undeveloped wilderness homes to vast numbers of animals.
Some of the animals found in these two parks includes the aardwolf, cape buffalo, bushbuck, African wildcat, cheetah, dik-dik, African hunting dog, eland, African elephant, gazelle, gerenuk, giraffe, Coke's hartebeest, spotted hyena, and rock hyrax.
Also found in these two Kenya National Parks are impala, black-backed jackal, Lesser Kudu, leopard, lion, black faced vervet monkey, Sykes' monkey, fringe-eared oryx, crested porcupine, bohor reedbuck, black rhinoceros, serval cat, bush squirrel, suni, warthog, waterbuck, common zebra and Grevy's zebra.
Over 500 bird species have been recorded in the area, including ostriches, kestrels, buzzards, starlings, weaver birds, kingfishers, hornbills, secretary birds and herons.

Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park
Pick up in the early morning hours from your hotel in Mombasa north or south coast for departure on this private 3 day Tsavo East and West safari tour and wildlife adventure.
We will drive along the Nairobi – Mombasa road on a tarmac road for about 2-hours and then take a short break right at the Tsavo East Bachuma gate for a photo session.
Start game viewing and photography immediately upon entry concentrating on the Aruba dam area where higher number of game are bound to be spotted.
Continue with game drive as you head to a game lodge within Tsavo East for check-in and lunch.
After a short post-lunch siesta, take an afternoon game drive particularly looking for elephants, lions, cheetah and other plains game. Return to your lodge in the early evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo East - Tsavo West National Park
Today after breakfast, we depart for Tsavo West National Park. Arrive at your lodge or luxury tented camp in time for lunch.
After a short post lunch break, take an afternoon game drive, for sure to be the highlight of the day, and return to your accommodation base for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Tsavo West - Mombasa
The third day of your Tsavo West safari will start with an early morning game viewing drive returning to your lodge or luxury tented camp for breakfast.
After breakfast, depart for Mombasa with lunch en-route to arrive in the late afternoon when you will be dropped back to your hotel at the end of this 3 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West National Park Tour.
