Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park Safari

Pick up from your hotel and you head north into the Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru, famed for its vast flocks of flamingo and pelicans.

This will take approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.

The drive from Nairobi to Nakuru will give you an unrivalled view of the majestic Great Rift Valley, winding through a series of lakes and forested uplands all the way to the bustling market town of Nakuru.

Upon entry into the Nakuru National Park start your game viewing, particularly looking out for rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and giraffe.

Lunch will be at a luxury tented camp or game lodge.

Most of the lodges are set high above the national park affording you beautiful panoramic views across the savannah grassland all the way down to Lake Nakuru.

All meals and overnight will be at an upmarket lodge or luxury tented camp.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Tour

After breakfast, head for the Masai Mara, Kenya's premier wildlife reserve. This scenic drive will take about 4 hours.

The Masai Mara has endless plains punctuated by flat-top acacia trees and home to an array of wildlife.

Every year the reserve plays host to one of the world's great wildlife spectacles, the annual wildebeest migration.

Over 1.4 million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra and gazelle, relentlessly tracked by Africa's great predators, migrate over 1,800 miles each year in search of rain-ripened grass from late July until the end of September.

After lunch, relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive. All meals on full board.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve Safari

Optional activity include taking a Mara Hot Air Balloon Safari with champagne breakfast!

The hot air balloon safari in Maasai Mara Game Reserve is a magical experience! You will spend one-and-a-half hours silently floating over the savannah in a hot air balloon, filling you with memories to last you a lifetime.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast, take an exit game-drive as you embark on a scenic drive back to Nairobi.
